I'm not sure about this one. I would love to write something more cruel and vicious, but that just send me in a fucked up rabbit hole.
Silent screams during night
A child's cry, a desperate fight
Small hands, bruised and worn with fear
A heart that's broken, as growing older year by year
Laughter silenced, their smile rare
Innocent eyes, a mirror of despair
Childhood lost, A soul confined
A future uncertain, always left behind
Innocence shattered, trust betrayed
A voice, a whisper, softly swayed
The wounds they bare, will forever last
Only memories, a painful past
Wish someone would hear the silent screams
And be the voice that sets them free from the dream
For every child, deserves a chance to thrive
Free from the chains of pain, a true chance to be alive
